The Growth & Content Marketing Specialist helps us grow traffic, engagement, and sales across our owned digital channels (social, email, SMS, and Shopify site) by creating scroll-stopping content, executing campaigns, and partnering across teams to make each one perform better than the last. This is a hands‑on, execution-driven role. You’ll be in the trenches writing copy, collaborating on campaigns, analyzing results, and optimizing creative. You’re equal parts storyteller and tinkerer, someone who gets excited about crafting a killer TikTok and shaving a few bucks off CAC. You’ll join a small, creative, results-driven team where your ideas actually make it out into the world and fast. You’ll help shape how Smartish grows its community, conversions, and brand while having fun doing it. Content Creation & Campaign Execution Develop and execute campaigns and content across owned social, email, SMS, and website channels. Write clever, on‑brand copy and partner with the Creative team on photos/video shoots to create visuals that connect and convert. Collaborate with the paid marketing team to concept and deliver A/B creative for ad testing, reviewing what performed, and shaping what comes next. Leverage AI tools to expedite production (and know when not to use them.) Own day‑to‑day planning and publishing to keep content fresh and on schedule. Growth Marketing & Optimization (Owned Channels) Test and improve creative, messaging, and conversion paths across owned properties: social, email, SMS, and Shopify. Identify small wins that drive outsized results and move fast to implement them. Partner with the Head of Brand & Marketing and the paid team to align on performance learnings and next steps. Optimize landing pages, CTAs, and offers to boost results. Share insights regularly with teammates to refine creative and channel strategy. Email, SMS, & Website Conversion Partner with the email/SMS agency to plan, test, and optimize email campaigns and automated flows. Help craft messaging, creative and segmentation that drive conversion and retention. Collaborate with the Head of Brand & Marketing and the Operations team to improve the Shopify site experience and conversion rate (CRO). Monitor owned‑channel performance (email, SMS, website) and share actionable insights that improve growth and revenue. Affiliate, Influencer & Partnership Marketing Source, recruit, and manage relationships with influencers, creators, and affiliates. Coordinate product seeding, gifting, and collabs that align with Smartish’s voice and goals. Track and report on affiliate and partnership performance. Identify who drives genuine engagement and ROI. Test new partnerships and manage affiliate tools or platforms to scale what works. Support launch campaigns with influencer and creator content that fuels paid and organic growth. Social Media & Community Engagement Create and schedule content that builds engagement and drives traffic. Monitor and help respond to comments, DMs, and community interactions in brand voice. Spot trends early and test Smartish takes that grab attention. What Success Looks Like Smartish’s social content consistently drives both engagement and sales. Email, SMS, and website conversion funnels and retention campaigns are continually improving through testing and collaboration. Affiliate and partnership programs are growing and delivering measurable ROI. The marketing team moves faster and smarter because of your execution and insights. About You: 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in DTC, e‑commerce, or performance marketing. (CPG experience a bonus). You’ve helped build and execute campaigns (not just managed vendors). Strong copy chops and creative instincts, paired with comfort using data to guide decisions. Hands‑on operator who loves testing, iterating and learning fast. Excellent communicator with sharp copy instincts and an eye for design. Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, influencer/affiliate platforms/creator management tools and Meta or TikTok Ads (for content collaboration) is a plus. You’re proactive, resourceful, and thrive in a small team where everyone wears multiple hats.
