The Grant Writer, Researcher & Management professional at Harmony Healing Foundation is responsible for identifying funding opportunities, preparing and submitting compelling grant proposals, and managing the ongoing reporting and compliance requirements associated with awarded grants. This role supports the Foundation’s mission to provide resources, support, and hope to individuals and families affected by cancer.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, private foundations, and corporate sources.
- Prepare, write, and submit grant proposals, ensuring alignment with HHF’s programs and mission.
- Track deadlines, maintain grant calendars, and ensure timely submission of applications and reports.
- Monitor awarded grants and prepare required progress and financial reports.
- Collaborate with program managers to gather data, outcomes, and supporting materials for proposals.
- Maintain a database of grant applications, awards, and funder contacts.
- Assist in developing strategies to diversify and increase funding streams for HHF programs.
- Support management with donor communications, proposal follow-ups, and impact reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, public administration, or related field (preferred but not limited to).
- Proven experience in grant writing, research, and management of funded projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Knowledge of nonprofit funding sources, compliance requirements, and reporting standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with cancer-related programs, healthcare, or social services is a plus.
Additional Details:
- Reports to the Executive Director or designated program manager.
