Position Overview The Marketing Manager will be the firm’s first dedicated marketing hire and will have the exciting opportunity to build the marketing function from the ground up. This person will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, positions the firm as a thought leader, and supports business development efforts. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands‑on, comfortable owning everything from big‑picture planning to day‑to‑day execution. Key Responsibilities Build and execute a holistic marketing strategy aligned with the firm’s business goals. Develop the firm’s brand voice, messaging framework, and visual identity in partnership with leadership. Establish foundational marketing processes, tools, and KPIs. Create compelling content, including case studies, thought leadership pieces, email campaigns, sales collateral, and web content. Oversee the firm’s website strategy, updates, and performance, partnering with external vendors as needed. Manage social media presence and create a consistent cadence of content across platforms. Support business development initiatives with pitch materials, proposals, and targeted marketing campaigns. Plan and execute events, webinars, and sponsorship activities to enhance brand visibility. Monitor marketing performance and provide regular reporting and insights. Evaluate and implement marketing technologies (CRM, automation tools, analytics platforms). Collaborate closely with executive leadership to ensure marketing efforts reflect firm priorities and client needs. Qualifications 5–8+ years of marketing experience, ideally within professional services, consulting, or B2B environments. Experience building or significantly scaling a marketing function is strongly preferred. Strong storytelling and writing skills; ability to turn complex concepts into compelling narratives. Demonstrated success in managing multi-channel marketing strategies. Hands‑on expertise with digital marketing, content creation, and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite). Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools. Strong project‑management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Entrepreneurial mindset, resourcefulness, and comfort operating in ambiguity. Collaborative, low‑ego team player with strong interpersonal skills.
