Role Overview

Director, Portfolio and Project Management Marketing Strategy| Retail Bank at Capital One.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-team delivery of strategic marketing initiatives.
• Guide annual and quarterly marketing strategic planning processes.
• Ensure integration of marketing outlook forecast, budget, goals and initiatives across lanes.
• Prioritize work, experimentation and outcome metrics to OKRs.
• Maintain high standard for clear business metric reporting.
• Collaborate with sub-organization Program Delivery Leads to align processes and tools.
• Manage key horizontal process initiatives across partner groups.
• Build programs to standardize “how we work” and support marketer success and engagement.
• Codify marketing best practices, testing, and marketer skill development.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic change initiatives and manage risks and dependencies.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in digital performance marketing.
• At least 7 years of people management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marketing or MBA.
• Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP).

Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges vary by location:

• Riverwoods, IL: $181,800 – $207,500
• McLean, VA: $200,100 – $228,400
• Richmond, VA: $181,800 – $207,500
• Wilmington, DE: $181,800 – $207,500

Eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation and long‑term incentives.
