Position Overview
The 3D Designer will play a key role in developing compelling, strategic, and visually dynamic design solutions that align with client goals and brand identities. This individual will lead design assignments from concept through completion, collaborating closely with internal teams and clients to produce impactful exhibits and experiences that exceed expectations.
Responsibilities
Lead design assignments from concept through project completion
Participate in creative brainstorm sessions
Develop hand‑drawn sketches, black and white line drawings, sample boards, computer‑generated color renderings, and presentation packages to communicate concepts to clients
Ensure creative solutions meet client objectives and budget guidelines
Create and provide estimating drawings to communicate component dimensions, substrates, and materials needed to the estimating team
Create and provide control drawings for the CAD team, including component dimensions and detailed information
Attend project meetings and keep the Creative Director informed of project status
Requirements
3–5 years of design experience
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Design or a related field (Exhibit Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or Experiential Design)
Graphic design experience preferred
Understanding of exhibits as marketing, educational, and experiential communication tools
Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Flexible and adaptable in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
Strong verbal and visual presentation skills
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
Proficiency in 3D visualization tools, especially SketchUp & Figma
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Available for some travel
