Job Summary/Basic Function
Front desk coverage as needed in the department. Standard office duties include maintaining bulletin boards and signage, assisting with budget reports, organizing office supplies, maintaining various spreadsheets, and maintaining accurate and organized records. Run errands, answer phones, greet incoming visitors, students, faculty and staff. Assist department instructors and staff as needed. Must be competent with computers.

Required Qualifications
Experience working in an office setting, good computer skills, and ability to multi‑task.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an office setting, good computer skills (MS Office/Excel), and ability to multi‑task. Ability to meet deadlines, good computer and communication skills, ability to prioritize and good organization skills are essential. Work‑study Student preferred, but not required.
Must be available during the morning or afternoon hours; MTWTHF 8:30am to 12:30pm or 12:30‑5:30pm.

Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Physical Requirements of this position
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or consistently to move objects, including the human body. Sitting most of the time. Walking and standing only occasionally if ever. Light work. Exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Use of arm and/or leg controls exerting forces greater than that for sedentary work.
Visual Acuity Requirements
Including color, depth perception and field of vision. Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
Work Environment
The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
