Nelson Park and Library: Part-Time Light Equipment Operator The Town of Grafton is accepting applications for a Part-Time Light Equipment Operator position at Nelson Park and Library. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: Operating light equipment such as mowers. Using hand tools for landscaping. Performing fence repairs, seeding, and fertilizing. Trimming/removing brush and trees. Snow removal as necessary. On average, this position works 15-20 hours per week, typically in the morning. The starting rate for this position is $18.00 per hour. The successful applicant must: Be able to work independently to ensure that time-sensitive projects are completed. Perform heavy manual labor in varying weather conditions. Communicate effectively and follow proper methods, procedures, and safety precautions. Minimum qualifications for this position include: A high school diploma or equivalent. A valid Class D driver's license.
