Senior Content Strategist – New Chapter, Inc. ROLE PURPOSE We are seeking a dynamic Senior Content Strategist to connect the dots between brand, creative, and media to deliver organic‑first content that drives awareness, cultural relevance, and brand love. Rooted in insights and fueled by creativity, this role translates business objectives into content strategies that feel authentic, discoverable, and shareable—while building a consistent brand strategy that ladders up to broader campaigns and growth goals. MAJOR ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Content Strategy Define content pillars and storytelling arcs that connect the refreshed brand positioning with cultural and audience insights. Build integrated editorial calendars that balance evergreen storytelling, seasonal campaigns, and fast‑turn cultural moments. Develop messaging frameworks and strategic guidelines that unify creative across social, owned, and earned channels. Brand–Creative–Media Integration Partner with brand, creative, and media leads to ensure organic awareness content complements paid efforts and larger campaigns. Surface insights from organic content performance to inform media strategies, creative concepts, and cross‑channel amplification. Ensure consistency across social, blog, video, community, PR, and influencer partnerships while tailoring to platform nuance. Write compelling, insight‑led creative briefs that inspire concept development—not just asset requests. Organic Growth & Optimization Use SEO, social listening, and analytics to identify how audiences discover, engage, and share content. Collaborate in the design of test‑and‑learn experiments to fuel reach and engagement. Evolve playbooks for awareness‑driving content and share learnings across creative, media, and leadership. Cross‑Functional Alignment Work with PR, media, and marketing teams to amplify brand campaigns across channels. Partner with media and brand insights—translating learnings into actionable strategies across paid, earned, and retail activations. KEY COMPETENCIES Proven success developing content strategies that drive awareness, organic engagement, and audience growth. Strong grasp of how brand, creative, and media intersect across social, web, and earned channels. Ability to synthesize consumer insights, cultural trends, and performance data into actionable strategies. Experience briefing and collaborating with cross‑functional teams—creative, media, PR, growth. Exceptional communicator and storyteller, with the ability to inspire creatives and influence stakeholders. Deep cultural fluency and curiosity, paired with a test‑and‑learn mindset. EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION and CREDENTIALS Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 7-10 years of experience in content, brand, or creative strategy (agency or in‑house, ideally in consumer wellness, or lifestyle with focus on e‑commerce). Experience working on integrated campaigns that include TV, digital/social, on‑site, email etc. (understanding of comms planning and product strategy a plus). Hybrid position based in Southern Vermont. COMPENSATION Target salary range: $120,000 – $150,000. The amount may vary based on experience, function, and associated responsibilities.
