Senior Account Manager Role
Account managers are peopleâpeople, responsible for the relationships between Leap and its clients. This means understanding the clients' business to manage their needs and expectations, and understanding Leapâs offerings to shepherd internal resources.
The Senior Account Manager is a proven project facilitator, adept at guiding the crossâfunctional team with focus on scope/project delivery and consistently exceeding client expectations. This role plays a critical role on our team and will work heavily with our government client accounts.
Broad Responsibilities
- Client engagement - relationships with midâsenior and junior levels, senior level client familiarity
- Manages up to AD - provides info on client relationship health, project status and hourly burn rate
- AMM leadership - direction and support for subordinate staff
- Crossâfunctional team leadership - leads meeting and presentations, takes point on next steps
- Strategic thought leadership - input to internal strategists, guidance to teams
- Project involvement - manages high and mediumâtouch assignments and drives KO, fulfillment and completion of quality deliverables
- Creative guidance and assessment - ensures great direction in and high quality out
- Media guidance and assessment - ensures great direction in and high quality out
- Digital experience assessment - manages and holds teams accountable for timely, insightful, actionable reporting
- Production influence â works with producers to manage project and gain client alignment to ensure momentum and efficiency
- Financial awareness â approves billing, monitors hours and helps manage projects for efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years agency account management experience
- Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy
- Experience managing government or public sector clients - and an understanding of the unique nuances of collaboration, compliance, and communication that come with it
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics with ease
- Skilled in brainstorming with a team for creative ideation
- Prior experience working with both B2B and B2C marketing
- Ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and deadlines without sacrificing timeliness or quality
- High degree of detailâ and processâorientation
- Selfâstarter mentality with a passion for continuous learning
