The Role
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Artist Management division to support multiple artist management companies with the day‑to‑day accounting and finance support. Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and maintain relationships with other field accountants. Prepare month‑end close entries, supporting financial schedules, and reconciliations. In addition, the Senior Accountant will also be responsible for preparing variance analysis, year‑end budgets, and updating monthly forecasts for their artist management companies.
What This Role Will Do
- Record monthly journal entries including accruals and prepaid amortizations
- Prepare various month‑end balance sheet and income statement support schedules
- Prepare monthly rebills and settle intercompany balances
- Prepare calculations for participations/commission settlements
- Prepare annual budgets and maintain forecast updates for respective artist management companies
- Assist with internal and external audit requests
- Other duties as assigned by management
What This Person Will Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CPA eligibility is a plus
- 3–5 years accounting experience
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Oracle BPC experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
- Multi‑task oriented
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills
