Base pay range

$160,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr

What We Are Looking For

As a Director of Sales, Audio you will own the execution and revenue growth for our digital audio business. You will drive new business, expand existing client partnerships, and scale our programmatic and direct audio advertising offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the sales growth strategy for digital audio (including streaming, podcast, in-game audio, and programmatic audio)
  • Generate new business: prospect, negotiate and close deals with brands, agencies, platforms and media holding companies
  • Grow existing revenue by upselling/cross‑selling additional audio solutions, bundles, sponsorships, and programmatic inventory
  • Build and maintain a high‑quality sales pipeline; create accurate forecasts and attain revenue targets
  • Collaborate with the current sales team to drive revenue across managed service and programmatic audio deals
  • Deep experience with packaging and pitching PMP based opportunities at trading desks, DSPs and digital agencies
  • Partner with product, AM and CS teams to ensure our audio offering meets client needs and delivers insights/reporting
  • Represent the company at industry events, audio & podcast conferences, agency presentations and client engagements
  • Stay on top of audio marketplace trends and position our business accordingly
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop sales collateral, case studies, audio campaign creative solutions and thought leadership

Experience and Skills Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of sales experience in digital media/advertising, with a focus on audio or podcast/digital audio advertising and preferred SSP or DSP experience
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding quota in digital audio sales
  • Strong network and experience selling to brands and agencies, including media holding companies and DSP/agency audio teams
  • Deep understanding of the audio ecosystem: streaming platforms, podcast networks, in‑game audio, programmatic buying, direct sponsorships
  • Comfortable selling both direct audio campaigns and programmatic inventory
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and strategic selling skills; engage senior stakeholders
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce) and data management tools; pipeline management, forecasting
  • Highly analytical: interpret campaign data, guide optimization and present business cases
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, adaptable in high‑growth/faster‑moving environments
