Content Creator, Social - Temporary Worker

A temporary, part‑time role (W2) based in the USA. Start date ASAP through mid‑December, with a maximum of 20 hours per week. The role is hybrid for those living in NYC, Chicago, Detroit or Los Angeles within a 90‑minute commute to any Dentsu office; otherwise it is fully remote.

Job Description

We are looking for a creative storyteller with a passion for food and beverage content that specializes in photography and videography tailored for social media platforms. If your portfolio includes recipes, cooking tutorials, or culinary visuals, we’d love to see your work.

Key responsibilities include creating high‑quality, engaging content and managing all aspects of social content creation from brainstorming and pitching to shooting and editing, often working from home. You will be an individual contributor who builds visual social media assets (Instagram stories, layout templates, frames) for TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, and other channels. You will also manage social content photo and video shoots, brainstorm inventive ideas, and apply new formats to promote engagement. While on‑camera presence may occasionally be required, the emphasis is on storytelling rather than personal branding.

Important Accountabilities

• Act as an individual contributor and create visual social media assets for multiple platforms.
• Manage photo and video shoots for social content.

• Capture and communicate brand stories through social media.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in advertising, marketing, or a related field (or an equivalent professional background if lacking a degree).
• Proficiency shooting with both an iPhone and a DSLR camera, and strong video editing skills.
• Experience shooting in a lit studio environment and comfortable with styling.
• Knowledge of social platforms (Instagram Creator Tools, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok) and ability to provide visual guidance on social assets.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Evidence of solid experience creating content related to fitness and usage of AI for generating content.
• Must list social media handles or a portfolio.

Pay Range: $33.10 – $54.11 per hour

Temporary employees are eligible for paid holidays in accordance with dentsu policy, as well as safe and sick time. This position is not eligible for any other benefits or other compensation.
