Join the Town of Eastham Public Library as a Library Assistant, Youth Services Department and help create a welcoming, engaging space for young patrons.

Responsibilities

• Assist children, teens, and families with library resources and technology.
• Support youth programs, story times, and special events.
• Curate and maintain youth collections.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to young readers and their caregivers.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) in Library Science, Education, or a related field.
• Experience working with youth in a library, school, or community setting.
• Commitment to building a diverse team and encouraging candidates of all backgrounds.
• Equivalent combination of training, education, or experience will be considered.

Compensation & Benefits

Full‑time, 35 hours per week. Salary range: $50,962 to $63,645 annually.
