Job Summary: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Plan, supervise, coordinate, and implement the media program in the building; implement a results-oriented information literacy curriculum, integrated with subject area curricula and delivered through a partnership with teachers; collaborate with staff in designing instructional strategies; instruct scholars in designated subject areas and other appropriate learning activities; provide leadership and guidance for integrating instructional technologies and instructing scholars and staff in the effective use of the media center, information technologies, and equipment; make appropriate and equitable use of instructional resources and technologies; evaluate, select, schedule, and utilize print and non-print material and related equipment; provide in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning when applicable; work collaboratively with others. Willing to participate in district, building, and department leadership activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- MN teaching license in appropriate field
Bargaining unit: Teachers
Job type or FTE: 1.0 (Temporary approximately December 4, 2025 through May 4, 2026)
This position has return rights pursuant to language in the Teacher Transfer Procedures, subd. 1.
