U.S. Eagle Federal Credit Union is a local not‑for‑profit, people‑first organization. The primary mission of the Multimedia Specialist is to manage as well as clearly, concisely and powerfully communicate our ‘people mean more’ branding message in a creatively significant and differentiated way via multiple and integrated channels. In this role, working with AVP Marketing and managing external vendor‑partnerships, you will have direct oversight of all marketing and advertising content deliverables, including both internal and external properties, ensure digital‑/data‑driven expectations and will be deeply vested in achieving exceptional outcomes and results.
What you’ll do:
- Key role in successful strategic planning and implementation of multichannel marketing applications for isolated initiatives and full‑reach campaigns; interfacing with CU media agency to bridge solutions between web, mobile, email, search, social and traditional advertising.
- Deploys exceptional graphic, a/v acquisition and design skills, combined with multi‑year experience, to produce strategically targeted, brand consistent and persuasive marketing materials. Is the gatekeeper of all elements that communicate the U.S. Eagle brand, including in‑branch marketing messaging and signage.
- Authors/creates/streamlines strategic, creative as well as extremely engaging and persuasive content for external (ex: media agency deployment), internal (ex: AdQue) digital and social channels to maximize sales conversion.
- Beyond creation and management of U.S. Eagle brand and marketing assets, will be expected to work closely with other Marketing team members to continually update, author, manage and sequence all website and internal digital deployments that support external campaigns, internal communications, branding and cross‑sell.
- Designs and codes HTML, Data Compression as well as additional channel coding for visual and graphic interfaces and interactions of all applications. This includes management of website CMS platform as well as constructing and execution of GUI features and techniques.
- Responsible for evaluation, oversight and management of freelance and external partnerships – including budgeting and projected ROI where relevant – of outsourced branding and production efforts. This includes management of multiple channel workflows to ensure deadlines, strategic objectives and budgetary guidelines are met.
- Performs additional complex initiatives and related duties assigned by AVP Marketing.
What you’ll need:
Experience
- Five to eight years of similar or related experience and demonstrative success providing marketing and advertising solutions across complex and varied channels. Previous experience managing vendor partnerships a plus. Portfolio of work requested. Knowledge of financial services industry a plus.
Education
- (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree) in a relevant field such as Advertising, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Communications, or similar.
Interpersonal Skills
- Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first‑level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills
- Demonstrate a unique combination of technical acumen and creative flair, bridging the gap between artistic vision and technical feasibility. Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, possess a strong understanding of video production processes, and have knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3. Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and have strong organizational and project management skills.
Physical Requirements
- The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (50) pounds. Highly specific vision abilities required by this job include close and far vision, color vision, and ability to focus.
