Job Summary

The Department of Music at the University of North Georgia seeks part-time faculty to teach various courses in the music curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teaching and/or serving as an academic assistant for music courses as assigned, including assignments such as music appreciation, applied instruction, chamber ensembles, and other needs within the Music Department.
• Attending auditions, juries, clinics, and performances outside regular class time.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; terminal degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Typical candidates hold a degree in music performance, music education, musicology, or related music fields.
• College teaching experience preferred.
