Dominant CBS/ABC combo serving the Tri-Cities, Tennessee and Virginia communities is looking for a SUPERSTAR News Producer. Our amazing region is home to the Birthplace of Country Music, Bristol Motor Speedway, a Hard Rock Hotel and & Casino plus World Class Hiking and Fishing.

Responsibilities

• Produces daily newscasts for broadcast
• Writes and approves news stories
• Balances news and feature content to create compelling broadcasts
• Edits video
• Writes stories for the website and other digital platforms
• Gathers facts and confirms stories
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Flexibility to work any shift
