Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a Pilates Studio Instructor who is a self-starter, passionate, energetic, health‑and‑fitness minded, and loves helping others feel better, move better, live better. Must be certified as a Pilates Reformer Instructor—if not certified, must become certified within 6 months of hire. Flexible schedule. Opportunity to work 10‑30+ hours per week. Income range $36,000‑$46,000 (based on 20 hours per week). Pilates Reformer I training and at least one year of teaching experience preferred. However, we are willing to work with a non‑experienced candidate who wants to learn, grow, and invest in their skills and career. Experience with fitness, dance, yoga, or mind/body movement practice is a plus. Also, candidates interested in working with mature clients or clients who need a therapeutic approach to exercising are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

  • Instruct effective, motivating, and safe Pilates sessions.
  • Train clients using a variety of Pilates equipment in small group and one‑on‑one settings.
  • Manage individual, studio, and client schedules.
  • Manage administrative processes needed for records, session sales, and payroll.
  • Regular communication with management, co‑workers, and club staff.
  • Inspect equipment/studio to ensure operation, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Provide demo sessions for members and co‑workers.
  • Participate in department/club promotional campaigns.
  • Participate in department in‑services and staff meetings.
  • Regular outreach with clients/prospective clients to maintain and grow business.
