Position Specifics

Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, a Division I and Big Ten Conference Institution, is seeking candidates for the position of Video Coordinator.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Produce, direct, and coordinate live streams and live video board events in our sports venues.
  • Provide assistance to video directors/coordinators for video board and live streaming productions.
  • Produce athletic video content for live streams and LED display playback.
  • Oversee the basic maintenance, regularly scheduled software updates and simple repairs to production equipment.
  • Supervise/manage/train/recruit up to 75 part-time employees and production interns.

Preferred Knowledge

  • Sports and technical directing.
  • Associate producing and directing.
  • Basic video engineering.
  • Camera, video and graphic operation.

Minimum Education, Work Experience & Required Certifications

As a Media Production Specialist – Professional: Associate Degree, no prior relevant work experience required (previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education). No required certifications.

As a Media Production Specialist – Intermediate Professional: Associate Degree, 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted. No required certifications.

Background Checks / Clearances

Employment will require successful completion of background checks in accordance with University policies. This position requires operation of a motor vehicle; a valid driver’s license and motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $42,100.00 - $67,300.00.
