Job Description Summary
This role is responsible for overseeing the sales technology platform that enables sponsorship revenue and drives the integrated marketing campaigns associated with strategic events. It administers the sales system, manages its output, coordinates with internal stakeholders to act on sales results, and provides customer service and support on behalf of the system. The position collaborates cross‑functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to maximize event impact, ensure compliance, and deliver exceptional sponsor and attendee experiences.
Responsibilities
Sales Technology Administration: Implement, configure, maintain, and monitor the platform; ensure data integrity; maintain prospect and sponsor distribution lists; generate and analyze reports; provide weekly updates and forecasts.
Customer Service & System Output: Respond to inquiries; interpret system outputs to inform stakeholders; coordinate delivery of sponsor benefits and registration based on system data; act as the liaison for sponsors via the platform.
Event Operations: Plan and execute event logistics with venues, AV, F&B, housing, security, and exhibitors; manage RFPs, contract negotiation, and administration; support business mechanics, budget setting, forecasts, reconciliation, and reporting.
Targeted Event Marketing: Design and implement integrated marketing programs for events, including pre‑event promotion, registration communications, and post‑event engagement; manage the marketing calendar to ensure brand consistency.
Operational Excellence & Compliance: Partner with programming, brand, legal, compliance, finance, and external vendors; enforce policies and best practices; stay abreast of industry trends and organizational objectives.
Salary Range $92,788.00 – $130,326.32
Education, Certifications and Experience
Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Required: 5+ Years of experience in meeting planning and event management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Effective sales and business development skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Proven experience with CRM/sales technology platforms, data management, reporting, and analytics.
Strong customer service skills and ability to act as liaison on behalf of a system.
Ability to quickly learn new software applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills; ability to multitask.
Independent judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
Proven success in project management and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Project‑management competency and attention to detail; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
