About the role As a designer you’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers and AI researchers to shape experiences that transform Claude from a tool into a trusted collaborator. You will design products that solve real problems by combining deep user understanding with our LLM perspective. Designers play a critical role in building transformative AI systems that feel reliable, interpretable and trustworthy.
Responsibilities
Build expertise in industries such as education, financial services and healthcare to design intuitive experiences that help people leverage AI at work.
Remove enterprise adoption barriers and create solutions that help companies realize value quickly.
Build intuitive tooling to ensure the successful rollout of Claude to large organizations.
Design intuitive and scalable self‑serve solutions.
Improve understanding and help employees learn how to use Claude to gain value faster.
Contribute to the strategic direction of our tools, rooted in deep user empathy.
Define feature areas with exceptional attention to detail and polish, identifying opportunities to improve quality and consistency of broader flows.
Craft beautiful, polished, and delightful UI that builds trust and showcases the power of our AI technology.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define product vision, strategy and roadmaps.
Rapidly prototype ideas using code and other methods to communicate concepts and build excitement.
Find creative ways to ship high‑quality work in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
Qualifications
8+ years of product design experience, preferably in complex enterprise/B2B SaaS or developer tools.
Strong portfolio showcasing user‑centric design thinking, polished UI craftsmanship and innovative interaction paradigms.
Proven track record of executing end‑to‑end on large and complex products in ambiguous environments.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and influence without authority.
Passion for crafting scaled, impactful, safe and beneficial AI technologies.
Experience with front‑end prototyping (HTML/CSS/JS) is preferred.

Location Hybrid policy: All staff expected to work from office at least 25% of the time.
