Corgan is actively recruiting an experienced Facilities Designer to join our Dallas Aviation studio to manage challenging aviation projects with a focus on airline corporate campus facilities planning and specialty projects. Over the past 25+ years, Corgan has worked in tandem with a major airline’s Real Estate department in maintaining, tracking and managing over 2,000,000 square feet of office space at their headquarters campus located near DFW. We are seeking a dynamic individual to help maintain this important client relationship while building on new opportunities.

We are looking for a highly-motivated individual who wants to assume responsibility and work in a fast-paced environment. This position will be responsible for working with the client and the internal Corgan aviation team for the development and submission of project fee and qualification proposals. The ideal candidate must be well-rounded with a flexible attitude, strong leadership and organizational skills, effective communication, a confident presenter, and a successful record of managing multiple projects and priorities while maintaining client-focus and a productive, positive team dynamic.
Responsibilities Applicant must have experience with delivering both construction document and construction administration phases including:
Attending Client Meetings
Programming
Space Planning
Cost analysis
Creating schedules
Project documentation
Consultant coordination
Construction administration
Managing project fees
Maintaining schedules
Profitability focused
Ability to individual will lead a team of Interior Designers working closely with the client on a variety of project sizes and types
Qualifications
This role is an in-office position
Degree from a CIDA accredited Interior Design program or equivalent
7+ years of experience in commercial design (aviation a plus) with at least 3 years of facilities maintenance and design
Display strengths in conceptual design, space planning skills, and detailing
Revit proficiency and technical excellence
Acumen for how things are built and constructability, and the ability to apply that knowledge to support the project design and budget
General understanding of building and accessibility codes
Experience coordinating with a variety of consultants and contractors
Professional registration preferred
Effective organizational and communication skills
Attention to detail
Flexible attitude
Ability to collaborate in a diverse project team environment
Demonstrated experience coordinating and leading projects teams
Ability to translate design concepts and information into images
Confident presentation ability
