Purpose Wildcard is seeking an experienced Manager, Graphics Operations for our Motion Graphics department. Candidates must have professional experience in working with a Motion Graphics team, preferably within the movie marketing industry. Must have a positive can‑do attitude, be proactive, possess strong interpersonal communication skills, be able to take initiative, as well as, manage time within a fast‑paced environment where deadlines and challenges constantly evolve. Post‑Production experience is a must!
Job Responsibilities
Support Head of Graphics in managing a team and prioritizing resources on a daily and weekly basis.
Communicate proactively with Producers and Stakeholders outside of the department on status of active and ongoing requests.
Anticipate and forecast incoming jobs, schedule resources accordingly to deliver assets to meet client deadlines.
Optimize most efficient use of resources by prioritizing daily, weekly and monthly assignments for design and production teams.
Maintain efficient workflow using internal tools, and work with the Operations team to develop and institute improvements and additional tools.
Actively manage scheduling of freelance/on-demand talent based on needs of department and company.
Work with the Head of Graphics to evaluate and improve upon department operations, seeking feedback and cooperation within and outside of the department.
Track resources in Asana on multiple, simultaneous projects to ensure load leveling, utmost efficiency, cost effectiveness, and superior creative solutions.
Onboard, train and provide on‑going support to Graphics Producers & Coordinators to maintain a high quality bar for execution.
Inspire creativity and excellent work habits.
Liaise with HR on freelancer onboarding process. Oversee freelancer POs / Invoices.
Required Skills
4+ years of professional experience in a Graphics department within the theatrical and streaming marketing industry
Experience producing and/or supervising motion graphics campaigns for a wide range of clients in the entertainment/advertising/streaming market
Hands on knowledge of graphic design, animation, and finishing
Advanced knowledge of broadcast and film standards and post‑production workflow
Comfortable with and interested in staying up to date on new technology
Ability to analyze and negotiate challenging timelines
Self‑motivated, team player
Problem‑solving skills with the desire to inspire and mentor a diverse team
Maintain high creative standards
Exceptional leadership skills, earns respect of team by example
Level headed, functions well under pressure
Excellent communicator (both written and verbal), able to give direction to artists and/or producers
Knowledge and experience with After Effects, Cinema 4D, and post‑production workflow
Willing and able to work demanding hours to meet deadlines
Candidates with artist contacts within the trailer industry strongly preferred
Pay Range $125,000 - $135,000 USD
