Public Relations Manager (In-House) We’re looking for a
Public Relations Manager
who knows how to shape narratives, strengthen brand credibility, and drive meaningful earned media. If you’re a relationship-builder with strong media contacts and a passion for storytelling, this is an opportunity to make a real difference while growing your career.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop and execute PR strategies that elevate our brand across national and local markets
Pitch and secure high-value media coverage, interviews, and backlink placements
Build strong relationships with journalists, editors, producers, and key media partners
Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and compelling brand stories
Coordinate TV, radio, digital, and podcast opportunities for company leaders, clinicians, and alumni
Partner with marketing leadership on campaigns and reputation management initiatives
Track media coverage, measure performance, and share insights with stakeholders
Support crisis communication planning and manage incoming media inquiries
What Makes You a Great Fit
Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
4+ years of experience in public relations (healthcare or wellness experience is a plus)
Strong media relationships and a proven track record of securing earned placements
Exceptional writing and communication skills
Understanding of digital PR, backlink value, and SEO-driven media strategy
Comfortable in fast-paced, mission-driven environments
Bonus Points For
Experience working within healthcare, behavioral health, or multi-location organizations
Familiarity with PR tools like Muck Rack, Cision, or Meltwater
Experience as a brand spokesperson or coaching spokespeople for interviews
