Job Overview We are seeking a
Civil Design Reviewer
to join our team in
Davie, Florida . This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of local projects, from small‑scale site developments to large infrastructure programs.
As a key member of our civil design team, you will be responsible for reviewing and supporting design efforts related to paving, grading, and site layout; drainage systems (hydrology and hydraulics); water and sewer utilities; stormwater modeling and erosion control; and construction document review and QA/QC. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams through all phases of design, from concept to construction, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
Review civil design plans and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Provide technical guidance and quality assurance for design deliverables.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve design issues.
Evaluate hydrologic and hydraulic models and provide feedback.
Support permitting and regulatory documentation efforts.
Assist in the development and improvement of design review processes.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
Participate in project meetings and provide input on design strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
5–10 years of professional experience in civil site design and review.
Strong understanding of local and international design standards.
Experience with small, medium, and large‑scale projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Excel, ICPR, XPSWMM, WaterCAD, or SewerCAD.
Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and permitting processes.
Ability to perform and review hydraulic and hydrologic modeling.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
