We’re looking for a driven, inclusive-minded Designer who can help customers plan and design their spaces while driving sales and delivering an outstanding CB2 experience.

Responsibilities
Drive sales and a differentiated experience by providing enriching customer interactions and elevated design offerings in store and virtually.
Create CB2 designs for customers using preferred design tools to build mood boards, 2‑D floor plans, product lists, and style inspiration.
Lead one‑on‑one design consultations in person or via email, phone, and virtual design consults, delivering projects on time and within determined timelines.
Maintain a clear understanding of the CB2 brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy across store, online, and catalog channels.
Meet individual sales, KPI, and service goals, and demonstrate the store manager’s four steps of selling on the sales floor.
Stay informed about marketplace and industry trends.
Actively listen to customers to identify the best products for their needs and communicate company loyalty services (e.g., designer rewards, design trade program, CB2 credit card, and gift registry).
Provide excellent service with a positive attitude and enthusiasm in store, virtually, or at the customer’s home, ensuring quick and efficient service.
What You’ll Bring To The Table
Understanding of spatial planning, fabric selection, lighting, and interior design styles.
Excellent, timely communication skills and ability to translate CB2 brand vision to meet customer wants/needs.
Strong affinity for technology (2‑D and 3‑D tools, Google Suite, video conferencing) and proficiency in floor planning.
Ability to keep current with design trends.
Desired Experience
1+ year of relevant experience in furniture sales, home décor design, or retail/customer service.
Full‑time: Availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Part‑time: Availability to work two or more weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and at least one weekday or night.
Compensation Minimum starting rate:
$16.00 hourly.
Up to:
$36.00 hourly. Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. Associates may be eligible for additional compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long‑term incentives.
