Role Description
On‑site position a must. We are looking for an Interior Design Specialist with 6+ years’ experience and comprehensive skills in all aspects of interior design. The ideal candidate is ready to become a design team leader working directly with Fortune 500 clients and firm principals. Lead the design team and own your projects.
Chicago Design Network is a midsized architecture firm with a focus on high profile commercial interiors projects. We are a leader in workplace design and branded work environments. Top clients in Tech Sector, Medicine, and Finance. With projects located throughout North America. Current projects include CA, WI, TN, MA, DE, & IL. Travel required.
If it is time for you to move into a project leadership role, we will give you the tools and responsibility to make it happen. We use an integrated design and project delivery model and are looking for a leader for all aspects of the process to create fresh and timeless, world‑class workspaces. Working closely with firm principals you will lead the team and drive your design from program meetings with the client to furniture and accessory placement. Client Contact – Programming
All design phases – Schematic Design through final finishes
Moderate Travel
Lead the team through programming, design, production and project execution
Manage project budgets and schedules
Qualifications : Maximize your value
Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design
Track record of progressive project responsibilities
Experience in a range of design services including finish coordination, systems furniture, custom furniture or millwork and accessories
Demonstrated skill in project communications
Interpersonal and team leadership skills
Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite applications - Working knowledge
Autodesk Revit – Practical Experience in both design and construction document phases
