The team is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Public Relations Manager to support our growing portfolio of products and services. In this role, you’ll help tell innovation story rooted in our mission to make neighborhoods safer. You will work closely with product, marketing, legal, public‑policy, and go‑to‑market teams to deliver impactful stories that resonate with customers and media. You’ll play a key role in bringing new products, features, and services to life, crafting messaging that translates complex technology into simple, compelling narratives. You’ll partner with internal PR teams across company, manage high‑profile launches and engage with top‑tier tech reporters and influencers who cover the evolving smart‑home and consumer technology landscape.

This role requires excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives, media representatives, and cross‑functional teams.

Key job responsibilities

Devise and lead the PR for product and service launches, including AI‑focused launches

Support the team on narratives and campaigns

Develop storytelling opportunities

Partner with marketing and go‑to‑market teams to ensure flawless launches

Collaborate with various PR partners, like analyst relations and consumer campaigns, for key industry moments

Collaborate with product teams to support launches

Provide communications counsel to business executives on both short‑term and long‑term challenges and opportunities

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience

Experience in writing and evolving clear messaging and plans

Preferred Qualifications

The ability to dive deep and understand how to position complex concepts clearly for maximum news value

Track record of developing successful launch plans

The ability to concisely and effectively express your point of view

The confidence to engage and build consensus with leaders

Excellent written and oral communication skills

The ability to understand and work with complex concepts

Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Strong ability to work in an ambiguous environment and quickly identify solutions to problems
