Experienced Licensed Architect / Senior Design Lead
We are seeking an experienced, licensed architect with exceptional design and leadership skills to join our firm on a long‑term basis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping the creative direction, design development, and technical execution of projects, working in collaboration with firm leadership as a design leader with the potential to advance into a principal design role.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with firm leadership to establish and maintain design direction across multiple project types.
Lead and participate in all phases of design, from concept and schematic design through construction administration.
Develop design concepts, presentations, renderings, and visual materials for client and stakeholder engagement.
Oversee and coordinate the production of detailed construction documents to ensure consistency with design intent and technical accuracy.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and staffing to ensure efficient and high-quality project delivery.
Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors to achieve integrated design solutions.
Conduct site observations, review submittals, respond to RFIs, and participate in construction administration.
Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth within the studio.
Contribute to business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
Licensed architect in the state of Florida with a minimum of 7–10 years of professional experience in architectural design and project leadership
Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence, technical expertise, and creative problem‑solving across diverse project types
Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design visualization tools preferred
Deep understanding of construction materials, detailing, and building systems
Proven ability to lead collaborative design processes and manage client relationships effectively
Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities, with the capacity to balance multiple projects
Passion for thoughtful, well‑crafted design and a commitment to advancing architectural quality
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
