Media Operations Analyst Peraton seeks a Media Operations Analyst to conduct Information Operations (IO) planning in support of the Army Communication and Outreach Office (ACOO) to address mis/disinformation related to Army missions and personnel. Location: Pentagon/Arlington, VA.

Tasks include:

Identify, assess, analyze, and advise on malign and adverse media that threatens the Army force and mission

Develop and maintain situational awareness of ongoing events relevant to the Department of Defense

Provide continuous information sharing, knowledge management, communications, and reporting support through collaborative processes

Assist in the rapid correction of malign, misinformation, or disinformation

Assist in the development of cyber technology‑based solutions

Maintain communication with Army units, agencies, direct reporting units (DRUs), and subordinate elements

Prepare briefings to Government officials

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD. Will consider Associate with 10 years or High School +12 years of experience.

Must have an information operations or Military Information Support Operations (MISO) background/experience:

conducting analysis of target audiences and environments

delivering influence, and assessing progress toward approved objectives in support of branch functions

advising senior commanders and staffs through reports and/or briefings

Able to provide reporting and briefings on the development / situational awareness of ongoing events relevant to the Department of War

Requires TS clearance with the ability to obtain SCI

U.S. Citizenship required

Must be able to support shift work schedule

Preferred:

Experience using AI or data mining techniques

Knowledge of the MDMP/JOPP, Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES), and APEX planning formats and guidance

Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
