Role Overview The
Senior Manager, Marketing Programs
is a client-facing, hands‑on role that blends campaign execution, creative development, and client relationship management. You’ll manage day-to-day marketing programs across one or more financial services products — from credit cards and personal loans to home equity, education refinance, deposits and more.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career in direct marketing and financial services. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, colleagues across Marketing, Finance, and Analytics, vendors, and clients, gaining valuable exposure to every stage of the campaign lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have experience in direct marketing with an aptitude for tactical execution and strategic thought, attention to detail, strong abilities with both numbers and writing, and comfort working with (or learning about) a number of products across a diverse set of clients while applying direct marketing fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities Client & Project Management
Support and help drive day-to-day client relationships and communications, ensuring campaigns move smoothly from concept through launch
Support and help drive the development of tactical timelines and deliverables, coordinating with internal teams, clients, creative resources, and external partners (credit bureaus, list processors, production suppliers, digital developers, etc.)
Prepare and actively participate in internal and external (client or vendor) planning/status meetings, presenting updates and recommendations
Campaign Execution
Translate client objectives into clear campaign requirements, documentation, and marketing matrices
Work closely with designers, and also write compelling copy as needed, to create marketing collateral that resonates with the target audience, aligns with the client’s branding, and drives action
Manage versioning of marketing collateral
As needed, review production and creative audits for accuracy of content, data, specifications, and branding requirements
Coordinate client reviews of campaign requirements and collateral to secure final approvals while ensuring quality standards and timelines are met
Stay updated on industry/competitive trends and best practices in direct marketing, and review campaign results, in order to recommend innovative ideas for marketing campaigns and tests
Support supplier invoice payments and client invoice preparation
Support reconciliation of internal and client-related documentation
Other related activities as assigned
Desirable Skill Set
At least 5 years of experience in marketing, account management, or a related field
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and juggle diverse tasks in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and proofreading skills
Ability to understand and document detailed campaign processes and requirements
Comfort with calculations used in direct marketing campaign management and invoicing
Experience working directly with clients and vendors preferred
Affable personality with strong history of effective relationship building skills and collaboration
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with Google Sheets, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook
B.S. or B.A. degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
Familiarity with direct marketing principles (direct mail, digital, test design) strongly preferred
