Crunchyroll is an international business focused on creating online and offline experiences for fans through content (licensed, co-produced, originals, distribution), merchandise, events, gaming, news, and more. We are looking for a Marketing Manager for the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand region (UCANZ). This role reports to the Director of Marketing for UCANZ and aligns with the Regional Marketing team. It supports business growth for the Crunchyroll brand in the UCANZ region, title launches, and brand initiatives, coordinating with global teams to support the region\'s initiatives. This is a newly created role that requires collaboration and a flexible approach. The Marketing Manager handles day-to-day marketing activities and acts as the cross-functional steward on campaigns, responsible for insight-driven strategic campaign planning and world-class creative execution. The role requires a creative-first mindset and regional media expertise, with the ability to plan, activate and execute holistic marketing campaigns in a locally relevant manner. The Manager should have knowledge of the streaming industry, anime and pop culture awareness, and the ability to engage regional audiences. They work closely with the regional social media manager and partner with global growth marketing, brand teams, local media partners and agencies. The Marketing Manager is accountable for the success of SVOD, title and brand campaign launches and results. Key responsibilities

Execute UCANZ multicultural and college audiences strategy through digital channels, special projects/events, and other GTM methods to deepen relationships, drive viewership and streaming subscriptions, grow awareness, and leverage organic marketing efforts. Assist the execution of global and regional (digital) brand campaigns and events in partnership with the SVOD and Events Managers. Support campaigns across College marketing, multicultural programs, theatrical releases, streaming events, and partnership campaigns; coordinate experiential activations as needed. Facilitate communication with centralized internal Marketing, Audience Development, Creative Service and Accounting teams. Manage non-digital marketing programs and sponsorships (e.g., for College Marketing) along with experiential activations (e.g., music festivals) as needed. Manage incoming project requests, timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communication. Activities may include: content brief creation for campaigns, program execution management, asset requests and specifications, localization/translations, and collaboration with theater/paid media teams as in-market assets are needed. Track, measure, and analyze performance across campaigns and optimize to achieve brand and growth KPIs. Contribute to growth of Crunchyroll\'s owned digital/awareness footprint in UCANZ and increase traffic, engagement, and subscriptions. Foster cross-functional collaboration and interface with tech/product teams for multilingual streaming service needs (landing pages, show pages, SVOD content curation guides, blog). Maintain weekly reporting dashboards and KPIs to support business strategy and provide insight to senior leadership and partners. Continuously develop and contribute to global processes, marketing and social media best practices, with ongoing experimentation and professional development; be willing to expand beyond areas of expertise. Collaborate closely with the wider Crunchyroll organization, including in-house digital creative squads, global marketing teams, Sony Pictures Entertainment/Television, and external partners. Requirements

5+ years of marketing campaign experience (budget, concept, planning, integration, reporting) Direct-to-consumer, entertainment industry or streaming platform marketing experience required Proven expertise in marketing campaign management, tailoring activations to audiences, and achieving marketing or business goals Experience developing business cases and ROI analyses to secure marketing investment Strong track record of leading projects and small teams from concept to completion, with a test/learn mentality and focus on measurement and optimization Extensive knowledge of the modern anime landscape, Crunchyroll ecosystem, gaming, pop culture, and multicultural communities is a major plus Collaborative, flexible, and able to work in teams High proficiency with Creative Asset Management systems, Google Workspace, Word, Excel (advanced macros), and PowerPoint Some national and international travel may be required Why you will love working at Crunchyroll
