Save Job

Digital Counsel is seeking a Senior Multidisciplinary Designer to help shape ambitious brands and digital experiences for leading arts and culture clients. From identity to campaigns to motion and web, you'll bring ideas to life with creativity and craft—and with an equal focus on visual communications. You will collaborate closely with strategists, writers, and directors to service top art world clientele. The Role

You'll work closely with our Creative Director, Strategists, and Account Directors to conceptualize, design, and deliver ambitious brand and digital experiences. Your work will span identity, social campaigns, websites, motion, and digital platforms. Designs must always be grounded in strong ideas, message clarity, and meticulous craft. This role reports to the Creative Director and Product Lead and collaborates daily with strategists, writers, and account executives. We're currently hiring full-time candidates. Digital Counsel operates on a hybrid model: while we value flexibility, we believe in the creative energy of in-person collaboration. Team members join us in the studio at least three days a week—Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Who You Are

A serious designer who also reads, researches, and thinks like a communicator. You're as interested in headlines, caption tone, and typographic hierarchy as you are in grids and color. Advertising, publishing, and deeper storytelling inspire your approach. You may also be a practicing artist, similar to many of our on-staff creatives. What You'll Do

Create campaign assets across digital platforms (social, web, paid media), as well as decks and presentations. Lead projects from concept through delivery, including websites, brand identities, campaigns, and print. Build and evolve design systems that connect brand storytelling with digital experiences. Develop prototypes and responsive systems in Figma, bringing ideas to life with typography, motion, and interaction. Design site maps and wireframes in collaboration with engineers. Partner with external specialists—developers, animators, photographers, filmmakers, writers—to elevate the work. Mentor junior designers, offering clear feedback and raising the bar for craft. Contribute to moodboards, visual explorations, and special projects. Animate and edit video or motion graphics when needed. Partner with production and project managers to deliver on time and at the highest quality. Work alongside creative, strategy, paid media, and project management teams. Translate ideas into compelling visuals across presentations, ads, social, infographics, email campaigns, and websites. Iterate quickly, balancing exploration with execution. What We're Looking For

5 years of agency experience in a comparable design role. Mastery of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; video editing and/or Blender 3D a plus. Strong grasp of typography, color, and imagery in creating clear, expressive, and functional design. Ability to manage multiple projects with independence and accountability. A portfolio showcasing versatility across digital, print, motion, and experiential work. Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field preferred. We are open to both part- and full-time candidates for a contract role, with a trial period arranged before a potential transition into a full-benefits position beginning January 1, 2026.

Salary range is $54,000 - $85,000 based on experience and schedule. Full Time Role Compensation and Benefits
