Trystar’s team members are our most important asset, and we are looking for a skilled Service Designer with a strong background in offering design to develop, maintain and continuously improve our service offerings. The ideal candidate will work closely with offering management, engineering, product development, and field service teams to map and improve end-to-end customer and employee journeys to make services usable, efficient, and valuable. They will develop Operational Readiness artifacts for Trystar service offerings, the output being a complete package for execution, including procedures, sales collateral and customer-facing material.

In this role you will get to:
Lead the design of service offerings to bring value to our customers
Implement service design strategies that drive innovation and improve the customer experience
Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize customer needs and pain points
Demonstrate systems thinking: understanding how people, processes, and technology interact; capability and gap analysis; service ecosystems
Define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of service offerings on business outcomes
Define the process, documentation, training and tools to ensure successful offering execution
Provide process and workshop facilitation, support stakeholder alignment sessions
Provide content for internal communications and customer-facing materials
Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (required).
5+ years of experience as a service designer in a field service and/or professional services environment.
Strong knowledge of service design principles and methodologies, including customer journey mapping, service blueprinting, and service prototyping.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Qualifications
Experience with standards such as NEC, UL, IEC, or IEEE.
Familiarity with digital collaboration tools.
Understanding of safety documentation (e.g., arc flash labels, lockout/tagout procedures).
Preferred familiarity with commercial/industrial electrical systems, equipment, and terminology (e.g., switchgear, transformers, MCCs, control panels, power distribution).
Exposure to electrical systems environments is a plus.
