Where We Hire Remote-first organization hiring within 60 miles of Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Austin, TX, Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, Phoenix, AZ, Minneapolis, MN, and Syracuse, NY Where You Fit The Technical SEO Lead is a high-performing individual who creates and guides the Technical strategy to achieve OKRs, exceed client expectations, and promote ongoing craft development. Responsibilities Leads the execution of technical SEO strategies in alignment with the Strategy Director for Fortune 500 Brands. Contributes to the thought leadership of accounts and suggests improvements and/or adjustments to the current technical strategy to the Strategy Director. Serves as the technical client-facing lead to effectively communicate the opportunity for, and value of, website changes, updates, and performance recommendations. Precise understanding of Terakeet product offerings and the steps associated with how our cross-functional teams execute to achieve client outcomes. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and account leadership to ensure client objectives are met. Coordinates with (Sr.) SEO Analyst(s) to prepare and deliver presentations to clients on: Data-driven insights, technical findings and recommendations, and industry research. Competitive and market opportunity analyses as they relate to search intent, competitor niche saturation, backlink profiles, and SERP anomalies. Nurtures the craft by ensuring quality assurance across the team’s final outputs. Reviews final outputs from the (Sr.) SEO Analyst(s) on projects and develops related recommendations to ensure deliverables are client-facing ready. Examples of projects include keyword research, page/sitewide analysis, site structure best practices, and opportunity assessments. Leads a team of (Sr.) SEO Analysts by conducting regular performance evaluations, facilitating career development discussions, identifying areas for improvement, and providing consistent positive and constructive feedback. How We Evaluate Bachelor’s degree preferred - Concentration in Marketing or a related field. 3-4 years+ of professional work experience in a related role with exposure to how marketing campaigns impact natural search visibility. Proven ability to present in group settings and directly to any/all levels of an organization. Proven team leadership qualities, including the ability to offer positive reinforcement, hold others accountable, and provide constructive feedback when appropriate. Ability to tailor management approach based on individual needs. Proven ability to interact successfully with cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships. Keen attention to detail is essential to ensure thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency when assessing client outputs. Experience identifying key performance indicators and success metrics given knowledge and understanding of client-specific business goals. Experience deriving technical insight from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and directly from SERPs. Knowledge of technical, usability, and content-related aspects of a website and their impact on search. Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods. This salary range is based off of the market pay for all of the United States; Terakeet applies a multiplier to this range based upon the specific geographic location of a job candidate.
