Overview
The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversion across various platforms. This role requires a mix of creativity, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities.
Responsibilities
Strategy Development
Create comprehensive social media strategies aligned with marketing goals.
Analyze competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Content Creation
Develop engaging content tailored to each platform's audience (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
Collaborate with designers and other content creators to produce visually appealing posts.
Community Management
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across social channels.
Foster relationships with followers and influencers to enhance brand loyalty.
Campaign Management
Develop and execute social media campaigns to promote products/services or specific events.
Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate campaigns across all channels.
Analytics and Reporting
Track performance metrics for all social media activities using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.
Prepare regular reports to analyze the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
Advertising Management
Plan and manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation and ad performance analysis.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience : 2-4 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
Technical Skills :
Expertise in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
Proficient in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
