We’re looking for an interior designer who is passionate about high‑end residential design and eager to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing residential renovation and decoration projects from concept to completion.
Develop design concepts in alignment with the Principal’s vision.
Create and present client‑facing design proposals, mood boards, and materials selections.
Produce technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and lighting/electrical plans.
Research, source, and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, and accessories.
Assist with FF&E procurement, order tracking, and installation coordination.
Review architectural plans and cabinet shop drawings to ensure design intent is met.
Conduct site visits and collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors.
Maintain organized project documentation, action lists, and digital task tracking (Asana).
Support budget tracking, pricing proposals, and vendor coordination.
Assist with mentoring junior designers and design assistants.
Contribute fresh ideas and creativity to elevate our firm’s work.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
4–6 years of experience in high‑end residential interior design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask across multiple projects.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Located in the East Bay or San Francisco with a reliable car.
Preferred Experience (Nice To Have)
Familiarity with Houzz Pro, Slack, and Asana.
Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.
