Full-Time About Major League Cricket

Major League Cricket (MLC) is the premier professional T20 cricket league in the United States, bringing the world’s most exciting and dynamic sport to America. Established to elevate cricket's presence in the U.S., MLC showcases top-tier competition featuring international stars, emerging domestic talent, and franchise teams representing iconic cities across the nation. Through its interconnected commercial rights and responsibilities including Minor League Cricket, as well as the USA men’s and women’s national teams, MLC is not just a league; it’s a movement to bring one of the world’s most popular sports to a new frontier. With global partnerships, investments from leading cricket organizations, and a commitment to excellence, we are redefining the future of cricket in America. The Opportunity

As Social Media Manager, you will lead the strategy, creation, and execution of MLC’s social media presence across Major League Cricket, Minor League Cricket, and the USA National Teams. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will play a key role in shaping brand voice, driving fan engagement, and growing the league’s digital footprint across multiple platforms. You will oversee the day-to-day management of MLC’s social channels — including Facebook, Instagram, X, Threads, WhatsApp, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube — ensuring content is innovative, engaging, and aligned with the broader marketing and brand objectives. Your remit includes developing creative campaigns that connect with fans, managing a team of content creators and videographers, and collaborating with internal departments and external partners to deliver best-in-class digital storytelling that elevates the sport of cricket in the U.S. Why Join MLC?

We are at a defining moment for cricket in the United States. Season 3 of Major League Cricket expanded across the entire country, including staging matches at the iconic Oakland Coliseum. The U.S. Men’s National Team is preparing to compete in the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup to be staged in India, and most significantly, cricket will return to the Olympic stage at the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Games, catapulting the sport into a new era of global visibility and commercial opportunity. You’ll join a visionary marketing team, shape the brand strategy of a rising sport, and help drive fan growth in one of the most dynamic sports markets in the world. Key Responsibilities

Oversee content creators, photographers, and videographers during live events and matchdays. Monitor real-time trends, social conversations, and fan engagement opportunities to insert MLC into cultural moments. Analytics & Performance: Track social media performance and engagement metrics using analytics tools. Provide regular reporting on social growth, reach, and engagement to inform strategy and optimize content. Identify opportunities for innovation, platform testing, and performance improvement.
