Position: Landscape Designer/Salesperson
Reports to: Sales Manager
Location: Glen Arm, MD
Job Type: Full-time: 40+ hours per week including Saturdays as necessary
Total Compensation: $75,000 – $130,000.00+

Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Designer/Salesperson to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will help clients transform their visions into stunning realities by leveraging your expertise in landscape design, construction techniques, and client relations.
Key Responsibilities
Client Interaction: Conduct on-site consultations to understand client needs, collaborate on ideas, and bring their outdoor visions to life.
Design Expertise: Develop innovative conceptual, schematic, and detailed designs that balance creativity and practicality, ensuring high-quality results.
Proposal and Estimation: Prepare detailed proposals and cost estimates, aligning client expectations with company goals and financial objectives.
Construction Communication: Partner with the construction team to ensure seamless execution of design plans and deliver exceptional results.
Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry trends and engage in ongoing professional development to refine your skills and knowledge.
Maintenance Promotion: Advocate for long‑term property care, encouraging clients to invest in maintenance services that preserve and enhance their landscapes.
Client Service: Cultivate strong client relationships by delivering attentive, responsive service and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and design teams to contribute to the company’s overall success.
Qualifications
2‑5 years of landscape design experience, including garden and hardscape projects.
Proven track record in sales.
Strong skills in design, technical applications, visual presentation, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Basic knowledge of landscape construction and project logistics.
High attention to detail, with strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, deadline‑sensitive environment.
Proficiency with design and office software (Vectorworks or AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office).

Compensation Package
Signing Bonus: Start date on 11/1 = $1,500.00
2026 Annual Sales shall start to be counted as soon as the designer starts in 2025.
Company Vehicle with provided fuel.
10 days of PTO per year, 6 paid holidays, 5 Sick & Safe days.
Discretionary year‑end bonus.
Base Salary is equal to 8% of expected sales floor.
Commission earned on all sales that meet minimum profit standards after sales floor is met. The commission shall be calculated at 10% of the Gross Profit margin.
