David creates tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Our first product is a protein bar. More broadly, David is a platform to develop high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods that are craveable.

This is a rare opportunity to join a breakout food brand at a pivotal stage of growth. Led by CEO Peter Rahal, Cofounder and Former CEO of RXBAR, David is working to become the leading consumer food brand focused on high-protein foods in North America and beyond.

Role and Responsibilities As a Junior Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping how consumers experience David online and in the real world. You’ll report directly to the Director of Creative Operations and work closely with our Growth team to design, test, and refine high-performing ad creative that articulates our brand compellingly across many customer touchpoints.

The primary focus of this role is designing digital ads for paid social media platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Beyond digital ads, you’ll support other creative needs across the company, including designs for our website, email campaigns, retail presence, and field activations.

Responsibilities

Concept, design, and produce high-volume digital ad creatives for paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.

Translate brand identity into fresh, high-performing ad formats that resonate with our audiences.

Design visual assets for ecommerce product pages and website imagery to support product storytelling and conversion.

Create assets for email campaigns, retail, and field activations as needed.

Maintain brand consistency and visual quality across all digital touchpoints.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and creative goals.

Qualifications

1–2 years of design experience in-house at a brand or at a creative agency.

Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign); familiarity with Canva a plus.

A strong portfolio showcasing digital work - websites, social media, digital advertising. motion/animation are a plus.

Proven ability to design digital ads and marketing assets that drive engagement and performance.

A strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory, with strong attention to detail.

Understanding of paid social media platforms, creative trends, and digital ad best practices.

The ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and visually.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional work

The ability to operate independently while effectively communicating priorities and initiatives to the team

A passion for helping build an early-stage CPG company with the mission to create tools for increasing muscle and decreasing fat.

Benefits & Compensation

This is a full-time, in-office role based in New York City. We work onsite five days a week — when the culture fits, it is fun to be in the office together.

Compensation: $65K–$95K per year. Compensation is inclusive of bonus. Ability to trade salary for equity compensation will be offered.>100% covered Health, Vision, Dental Insurance.

401(k) with 4% match.
