Helping SMBs Scale with Performance-Driven Ad Strategies Paid Media Specialist @ M.O Advertising
I’m hiring a Paid Media Specialist as the first official hire at M.O Advertising. If you’re looking to coast, this isn’t it. If you’re hungry, love performance marketing, and want to help build something big from the ground up, keep reading.
You’ll own day-to-day paid media across Google Ads (mostly) and Meta Ads, help with email/SMS marketing, creative development, and be heavily involved in data, tracking, and reporting. This role is for someone who wants to get in, get their hands dirty, and grow with the agency.
What you’ll be doing
Plan, launch, and manage Google Ads (mostly search) and Meta Ads campaigns.
Handle media planning and media buying across channels based on client goals and budgets.
Continuously optimize campaigns for CPL/CPA, ROAS, and quality of traffic.
Build and manage conversion tracking (e.g., GA4, Google Tag Manager, pixels, event set up) to make sure attribution is crystal clear along the customer journey.
Create analytics dashboards and reports that clearly explain what’s happening, what’s working, and what needs to change.
Support email and SMS marketing (flow builds, broadcasts, basic segmentation, testing).
Help manage accounts and client communication as we grow - status updates, insights, and recommendations.
Partner on creative:
Write and refine ad copy and hooks for search, social, and landing pages
Help sharpen brand positioning and messaging for clients
Assist in building pitch decks and strategy presentations for prospects and clients
Collaborate on content strategy & landing page/website design.
What you bring
2–4+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably at a digital agency or in a performance-media focused role.
Proven, hands-on experience running and optimizing Google Ads & Meta Ads.
Experience with media planning & buying – allocating budgets, forecasting, and planning channels.
Strong data and analytics mindset: you’re comfortable pulling numbers, spotting trends, and making decisions from data.
Solid understanding of conversion tracking setups and analytics builds (GA4, GTM, pixels, events, etc.).
Experience with ROI reporting – connecting spend to revenue/leads and telling a clear performance story.
Ability to write clean, direct ad copy and provide thoughtful input on creative.
Comfortable balancing multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities without hand-holding.
Bonus points (not required, but nice)
Hands‑on experience building in‑depth conversion tracking and event frameworks. Knowledge using GA4 and GTM, as well as understanding server‑side tracking with CAPI. Someone who can confidently turn complex user behavior into clean, reliable data for ROI‑proof performance reporting.
Experience with email & SMS platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.).
Creative background (design, video, or content).
Experience with local lead generation and high‑ticket service businesses.
Who this role is for
You’re a doer and a strategist. You’re happy to get into the accounts and make changes for the client's greater good.
You’re proactive. You don’t wait to be told what to do next.
You want to grow with an agency, not just clock in and out. As the first hire, you’ll have real influence on processes, standards, and future hires.
You can take direct feedback, own your results, and care about client outcomes.
