Description
General Responsibilities
The Admissions Processor coordinates CRM and SIS data operations, data entry, admissions and tracking processes, including compilation of statistical data from prospect to matriculation. Makes admissions decisions using established guidelines, but exercises judgement in interpretation of evaluative data for the Admissions Office. Also advises prospective students and parents in regard to the application process.
Examples of Duties
Responsible for data entry of all traditional and Dual Enrollment/Early College Academy student documents in the CRM and SIS systems. Provide lead support in application processing by entering all new applicants into the college systems to include SoftDocs to scan and index all required Admissions documents. Tracks and records transcripts, SAT, ACT, TOEFL and other scores from external vendors. Determines residency status according to state regulations.
Coordinates the reviewing process of all documents for traditional and Dual Enrollment/Early College Academy students from prospect to admit status in the CRM and SIS systems. Transmit all college transcripts to the Registrar's Office for review of transfer credit. Handles internal and external inquiry regarding residency and application status.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure prospects and applicants are moving quickly throughout the admissions funnel and communication plans are initiated in the CRM. Render appropriate admissions decision for traditional and Dual Enrollment Enrollment/Early College Academy students based on college policy in the CRM and SIS systems on a daily basis.
Supervises the maintenance, security, and integrity of student applicants and supporting documents through matriculation each semester, responsible for coordinating all electronic admissions data for freshman, transfer, Readmits, transient, and dual enrollment/early college students in our CRM and Colleague.
Performs other duties assigned by the Director of Admissions and Dean of Enrollment Management.
Typical Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
HS diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
Preferred Requirements :
Prefer a bachelor's degree and related work experience in student services programs. Knowledge of policies and procedures of Admissions or related program area. Ability to exercise judgement and discretion in interpreting and applying policies and procedures. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, administrators, staff, students, parents, coworkers, and the general public. Ability to run reports from various database systems. Working knowledge of CRM and MS Office suite.
Anticipated Work Hours
Thirty‑seven and one‑half hours per week; a flexible work environment and schedule to accommodate occasional evening and weekend Admission events.
