Overview SCHEELS is seeking a full-time Video Editor for our Fargo, ND Corporate Office. This individual will join our team of Creative Media Marketing Associates in developing video content by utilizing their creative skills with video, motion graphics and sound design. We work in a collaborative and energetic team environment where each member’s initiative to assist with projects is key to success.

Responsibilities

Edit video content for various platforms to promote SCHEELS

Ability to take a concept and build story/montage structure

Proficient, experienced and accurate in managing and working with video and audio software and hardware

Maintain an accurate filing system for assets

Capture and edit social media content as requested

Ensure the Scheels brand style guide is upheld in media content

Organizing daily priorities, routines and tasks; maintain a safe and clean work environment

Proficient in Mac computers, video editing platform Premiere Pro & other video related equipment

Knowledgeable in motion graphics software

Ability to be organized, multi-task, and maintain all aspects of creative media assignments

Strong initiative for continuous improvement

Ability to work independently and with a team

Embrace project goals and respond with urgency to address project needs

Exercise judgment and tact and be able to effectively work with all levels within the organization, while working on projects

Experience with cinema camera operation and light sets

Experience and knowledge of camera operation (DSLR & Cinema cameras), lighting, & Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro and After Effects)

Strong oral / written communication skills to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with all levels of the organization

Must possess a valid driver’s license

Education & Experience

The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years experience in video editing.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
