Overview Lifescape Colorado is adding an experienced Enhancement Designer and Sales Specialist to our growing team! The role combines creativity and horticulture with the business aspects of sales and estimating by preparing landscape designs and proposals for new and current clients specializing in enhancements or garden updates.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve the required annual design/enhancement projects sales goal.
Work with new and existing clients to develop enhancement ideas that elevate and enrich their landscapes.
Deliver excellent client service, meeting clients for initial consultations, sales presentations, contract closing, and project installation.
Turn around proposals within 24‑72 hours, based on project scope.
Provide proactive communication and keep clients updated on project process and timelines.
Cultivate great client relationships and ensure projects meet expectations, budget, and collect payment.
Oversee projects, planning, organizing, executing, and tracking multiple projects simultaneously.
Update and maintain an accurate sales pipeline.
Ask for referrals and reviews.
Design
Prepare detailed proposals for small projects and designs, including irrigation, planting, low‑voltage lighting, demolition, drainage, tree care, and hardscape.
Design seasonal color for containers (Spring, Summer, Fall), holiday greens, and holiday lighting.
Maintain knowledge of landscape services, best practices, plant identification, and planting design.
Complete accurate estimate takeoffs and create proposals in estimation software.
Create job packs with detailed project information to ensure successful field installation, budgeted hours, materials, and client expectations.
Project Installation Oversight
Meet foremen on site regularly to approve layout, plant placement, and ensure design intent is met.
Provide feedback and mentor on proper techniques, problem solving, and ways to increase efficiency.
Ensure clients are updated from consultation to project installation and satisfied upon completion.
Source specialty plants or materials when needed.
Additional Duties
Work with specialty trades or subcontractors as needed (arborists, fencing contractors, etc.).
Promote safety.
Assist in business development initiatives or events as needed.
Provide support to the company as needed.
Experience
Horticultural knowledge, plant identification, landscape best practices (Required).
Landscape/horticulture degree (Required).
Valid driver’s license with approval from fleet insurance carrier (Required).
Proficiency in design software, Microsoft Office Suite, and company estimation software.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) – a plus.

Position Range: $60,000 – $70,000
