WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for a Production Artist II to join the Global Sports Apparel team. This role strengthens production by delivering flawless execution on production-ready files and serving as a trusted resource through the creation of detailed and accurate schematics. The position requires a balance of accuracy, speed, and high-volume creation, along with a creative mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON You’ll work on highly visible product across sports and professional leagues—where sport, design, and culture meet, and where apparel is being redefined for both athletes and fans. You will collaborate with design partners to create and finalize graphic details across multiple product levels, from on-athlete to retail.
Daily work may include Production Art meetings and alignment, high-volume schematic creation, laydown page creation, documentation for downstream partners, and reviewing strike-offs. In addition to creation work, you will track and maintain updates on all relevant files to ensure accuracy through final approval. You’ll also have opportunities to learn new tools and advocate for workflow efficiencies.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH You will report directly to the Production Art Studio Senior Manager while collaborating closely with fellow Apparel and Graphic Production Artists.
You’ll work on product across multiple sport categories, with a primary focus on basketball uniforms to support seasonal apparel graphic development. This role requires independent, highly detailed thinking.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field, with experience in product creation
Strong knowledge of Illustrator and the Adobe Suite
Experience with 3D apparel programs, such as CLO
Familiarity with Smartsheets, Airtable, and Miro (a plus)
Knowledge of graphic applications for apparel
Excellent listening and communication skills
Outstanding attention to detail with strong organizational thinking
Deep curiosity and eagerness to learn
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Self-starter mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity
Proven collaboration skills
A love for sports is a bonus, but a love for design is essential
Location Onsite at WHQ (Traditional hybrid model with Fridays remote). NOT open to relocating candidates, must be local to Portland area.
