About This Role: Rowan's Piercing Studio Nurse, reporting to the Studio Manager, is dedicated to providing a safe, clean, and joyful ear-piercing experience. As a Rowan Nurse you will leverage your nursing skills and expertise to perform piercings with care and precision. Nurses contribute to Rowan’s clinical piercing services by ensuring safety, infection control, and customer calm, helping turn each piercing into a memorable milestone. What you’ll do Customer Service: Create memorable experiences by combining clinical care with a celebratory atmosphere during each piercing session; ensure customer safety and comfort; communicate clearly with clients throughout the experience; create a comforting atmosphere to ease concerns; educate customers on aftercare to support healing; conduct ear evaluations to find the perfect earring placement and offer personalized styling advice; monitor the customer experience and address issues to maintain clinical standards; maintain a sterile environment at the nurse station and on the procedure tray; apply knowledge of skin care and infection prevention to provide professional piercing services. Studio Support: Collaborate with the Studio Manager to keep operations running smoothly and foster a joyful atmosphere; flexibility to fill shifts as needed; mentor and train new nurses to uphold Rowan's Clinical Piercing Standards; stay attentive to anything that could impact the customer experience and report issues to management while collaborating to resolve them. Inventory and Supplies: Ensure piercing stations and supplies are stocked and ready; sterilize jewelry and needle piercing instruments to maintain safety and cleanliness. Studio Operations: Follow state, federal, and CDC guidelines to ensure a sanitary and safe piercing experience. Sales: Support studio metrics, including revenue growth, piercing efficiency, increasing average order value, and promoting sales; educate customers on Rowan After Care and the benefits of an extra pair of hypoallergenic jewelry to aid healing. Reporting and Communication: Address operational concerns promptly and escalate as needed, ensuring clear communication with management and team members to implement solutions. What you bring to the table Required Certifications: Active RN or LPN/LVN License. Professional and engaging customer care approach. Warm, friendly, team player with an entrepreneurial spirit. Excited to create celebratory, memorable experiences for customers. Skilled in communicating technical and non-technical information to customers and community members. Interest in working in a retail environment with sales goals. Obsessive attention to detail. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including peak times such as holidays and weekends. Open to all experience levels; newly licensed nurses are welcome. Additional training in pediatrics and/or ear piercing is a plus. Dedicated to delivering exceptional service and maintaining a safe, clean environment for every customer. Nurse Benefits & Perks Compensation: $28 per hour + 100% of earned tips. Nurses typically earn additional tips once fully trained (amount varies by location). Full-time new hires may be eligible for a sign-on bonus. Details discussed during interview.
