The Community Manager II is the front line in implementing CORE’s vision, representing the organization in the community, and managing operations, compliance, financials, human resources, and resident programs. The position reports to the Regional Manager, Area Manager, or Senior Community Manager. Responsibilities

Overall Management

Lead the overall administration, compliance, and maintenance of the property to maintain 100% occupancy. Partner with Hope Through Housing to develop and deliver social programs for residents and the neighborhood. Represent CORE proactively and build relationships in the community. Compliance

Maintain resident files and Yardi data in accordance with compliance and property management policies. Review and approve resident notices pertaining to recertification. Maintain the property waiting list in accordance with the Tenant Selection Plan. Process applications and annual recertifications within established timelines. Ensure housing applications comply with affordable housing covenants. Property Operations

Handle marketing and advertising for vacancies following the Affluent Fair Housing Marketing Plan. Ensure timely remittance of appropriate notices to residents. Conduct monthly site inspections and prepare reports for management. Manage office supply inventory and coordinate with Resident Services for timely purchasing. Ensure vacancies are filled to meet company policy timelines. Process work orders in Yardi within established timelines. Financial

Accurately account for and balance petty cash per company policies. Prepare banking deposits and post resident payments into Yardi on time. Prepare month‑end financial reports required by management. Manage account receivables and forward past due balances to collection agencies. Maintain accurate resident ledgers and resolve errors with accounting. Human Resources

Manage 3 or more on‑site employees; responsible for interviewing, training, timekeeping, evaluations, and disciplinary actions. Maintain positive relationships with CORE internal departments. Customer Service

Respond to resident complaints promptly and professionally. Create a community of caring and excitement visible to residents and the broader community. Resident Programs

Design, implement, and manage resident programs and ensure their ongoing success. Community Relations

Maintain positive relationships with city staff, local representatives, and social service providers. General

Attend company‑sponsored events, which may include overnight stays away from home. Perform other duties as requested. Skills

Minimum high school education or equivalent. Two to five years in a position with comparable responsibilities. Pass company sponsored Tax Credit Certification class within the first year; discipline up to and including termination if not passed on second attempt. Minimum two years in a customer service environment. Minimum two years of supervisory experience. Financial management experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Yardi property management accounting software preferred. Physical Requirements / Work Environment

5‑7 hours of sitting, standing, reading, and typing daily. 1‑3 hours of walking daily. Up to 6 hours of continuous walking for 1‑3 days during property inspections. Valid driver’s license and updated auto insurance required for business travel. Operate a computer and office equipment. Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds. Occasional stair climbing.
