Service Writer
WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Service Writer. Responsibilities include assuring the availability of parts in a cost-effective manner, maintaining records concerning inventory levels, preventive maintenance schedules, and corrective maintenance performed on all units, and inputting information into the computerized fleet analysis system daily. The role also involves maintaining relationships with vendors, preparing purchase orders for management approval, receiving, tagging, stocking, and dispensing parts to mechanics according to corporate and regional policies, and reviewing purchase orders with accounting to assist in the proper payment of invoices. Additionally, the Service Writer produces various productivity and usage reports for management review, follows all safety policies and procedures, and performs other job-related duties as assigned. The position requires preparing and assigning work orders to technicians and maintaining a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner that fosters good relationships with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers, and management. Experience and Education: The ideal candidate will have an equivalent of a high school diploma or a G.E.D. certification and one year of general office experience or equivalent training. Proficiency with office equipment including telephone, fax, copier, calculator, and computer is required, along with Microsoft Office including Excel and company information systems applications including InfoPro, CFA.
