Job Description
We are seeking a talented designer to generate shop drawings, details, and designs, along with bills of materials for structural steel weldments, custom fabrications, mechanical and electrical systems, as well as site layout and installation drawings. Responsibilities

Generate shop drawings and design details for structural steel weldments.

Create designs for custom fabrications.

Develop mechanical and electrical system layouts.

Prepare site layout and installation drawings.

Manage projects from start to finish, adapting to customer specifications.
Essential Skills
-
Proficiency in Solidworks, experience can be acquired during education.

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in engineering or equivalent design experience.

Competence in drafting and engineering principles.

Experience with AutoCAD and mechanical design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

0-5 years of experience in Solidworks design.

Candidates with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) are encouraged to apply,
Work Environment
The position is based in a small fabrication shop, offering exposure to all facets of the fab shop. You will work alongside two other engineers, both of whom are mechanical and have less than two years of experience. The office is adjacent to the shop, and the dress code is casual. This role provides room for growth and involvement in a variety of projects tailored to customer specifications.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boyertown, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
