Job Summary

WYMT-TV is looking for a dynamic MMJ/Anchor to join its award-winning news team. Successful candidates must have strong editorial, journalistic, and communication skills, and be able to report, shoot, and edit videos, and post web stories, pictures, and videos from both the field and the newsroom.

Responsibilities

• Utilize strong editorial, journalistic, and communication skills.
• Report, shoot, and edit videos.
• Post web stories, pictures, and videos from both the field and the newsroom.
• Meet production deadlines and collaborate with producers and directors.
• Participate in community outreach and represent the station at local events.

Qualifications

• Degree in broadcast journalism or one year of news experience.
• Demonstrated ability to create and edit multimedia content.
• Strong on-air presence and delivery skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
